On August 28TH 2009, The Lion Camp, a group of popular Reggae/Dancehall/Hip Hop artists consisting of Rocker T, Soulmedic, Winstrong, Jah Sun, Ishi Dube, Stevie Culture, and Jahworks the Revolutionary will be performing at The Miners Foundry Cultural Center at 325 Spring Street in Nevada City, CA 95959 tel- (530) 265-5040.
The doors will open at 8pm with music from Dj Seven of Nevada City’s own-Purefiyah Sound. Tickets are being sold at local retailers- The Record Connection and The Briar Patch Community Market at 17$ pre-sale, door price will be 20$. Food vendors will be selling local organic dinners and snacks and clothing and craft vendors such as Pure anywear will have their goods for sale as well. This is an all ages event and families are encouraged to come and enjoy the fun.
The Lion Camp is a crew of Reggae, Dancehall and Hip Hop artists from California, Jamaica, Hawaii and the Virgin Islands united under one banner for the musical betterment of humanity.
