NEW YORK, NY – The 9th Annual New Jersey International Music Festival is set for this Sunday, September 20, 2009 at the Bears & Eagles Riverfront Stadium in Newark, New Jersey. The festival returns with an international billing and lineup that features some of the top acts in mainstream and Caribbean music. Rap heavyweight Rick Ross and his new artist Magazeen will joinBrooklyn-based hip-hop star Fabolous, alongside Caribbean icons Machel Montano, Beenie Man and Buju Banton for this highly anticipated event.
Nine years and still going strong, promoters G. City, RoadBlockRadio.com, RACE Entertainment, Streetz96.com, DJ Antoine Qua of 98.7 KISS FM, and CCB International have revamped the original Caribbean music concept to offer patrons a more diverse experience, as well as more bang for their buck with the top acts in urban music. Fans who journey each year from New York to Atlanta to take in the show will be in for a treat as this incredible lineup is set to showcase the best in urban, reggae, dancehall and soca music. It will be hosted by New York radio personalities Jabba of HOT97 and DJ Norie of Power105.
