TWO-DAY REGGAE AT THE PARK FESTIVAL WITH ZIGGY MARLEY, MIDNITE AND MORE ON AUGUST 3 AND 4 AT TRUCKEE REGIONAL PARK AMPHITHEATER IN TRUCKEE, CA
One of reggae¹s royal family, Ziggy Marley will be headlining Day 1 of
Reggae At The Park in Truckee on Brockway Drive off Hwy 267 on Friday,
August 3. Opening for Ziggy are Dub Conscious from Macon, GA. Then the St.
Croix roots-reggae sensation, Midnite headlines the second day of
festivities. Opening that show are Jamaica harmony legends, the Abysinnians.
On each day, the gates open at 4:30 and the music is from 5pm until 10pm. A
beer garden, arts and crafts vendors and delicious foods round out the
festival experience.
On tour in support of his latest release, his second solo album, Love is My
Religion (Tuff Gong Worldwide), winner of the 2007 Grammy award for Best
Reggae Album, Ziggy says, ³This album is from my heart.²
