New Artist Winstrong rising fast! Singjay Winstrong is one of the hottest new acts of today.
Veteran Don Carlos called him up on stage (at the Earthdance Festival) and declared him ‘one of the best kept secrets in Reggae music.’ No longer!
With links from Hawaii to Amsterdam, his music is both contemporary and culturally authentic (thanks to noted producer Ryan Daisley). He grew up among dread elders – has toured with the likes of Warrior King – and been featured on compilations with Sizzla and Capleton, as well as Snoop Dog, and other hip hop acts (check out the forthcoming Project Groundationmix CD!).

Winstrong’s released a couple of albums, including one crafted entirely in Hawaii. Most recently, “Eye of the Storm” (pictured above), features a dozen plus memorable songs, particularly the twin hits “Ganja Tree” and “Boom Boom Blah Blah” (Sounds of the Gun), which have been tearing up the airwaves near and far!
