JOHN ‘RAS KIDUS’ CORNELIUS MUSICIAN ACTOR PRODUCER From the brighter side of Jamaica comes the talented RAS KIDUS a.k.a John ‘Ras Kidus’ Cornelius, Musician/Actor/Producer of the Roots Connection Band. He explodes with energy on stage, DVD and CD. His strong motivational message crosses over to all generations and he is proud to work with the youth to prove to the elders that they are good fruits. He is a Producer, Writer, and Lead Vocalist and has completed 5 original albums: “SON OF A SLAVE”, “UNDER PRESSURE”, “LONESOME TRAVELER”, “DUBALISTIC (DUB)”, and “TRIBUTE TO THE REGGAE SUPA STARZ”.
Ras Kidus is currently working on his new album “RAS KIDUS REVELATIONS”. RAS KIDUS plays keyboard, guitar, drums and engineers his own studio called Track 1. He has toured with Ras Michael “Sons of Negus’ and performs in many venues around the world. RAS KIDUS collaborates with talented bands and has deep roots in the International Reggae Community. He has headlined large concerts and performs regularly at local and international events. In addition to concert performances the multi-talented RAS KIDUS has been in Hollywood pursuing a movie career. He is currently starring in two movies with Beenie Man and Ninja Man (Mark Danvers): “RUDEBOY– THE JAMAICAN DON” and “GANGSTA’S PARADISE” both distributed through Blockbuster.
