The free cross-island concerts have been creating quite a stir since the adverts hit the airwaves last week. In fact, persons in Cambridge are waiting with baited breath for this Saturday night’s performances featuring the ‘Mumma of the Dancehall’ Lady Saw, new Reggae/Dancehall sensation, Konshens, The World Immortal Magnum Stone Love, Coppershot, the always-exuberant Miss Kitty, the humorous Ity and Fancy Cat, designer Biggie, the Magnum Girls, and a plethora of dancers.

Mark, a Cambridge resident, said, “Ah recession time now yuh nuh; so of course we want some free show and ah no pop dung artiste dem a bring. Mi wouldn’t mind reach pon stage gih Saw a good wine.Magnum sell off man!”

According to Gary Dixon, Category Manager at Lascelles in charge of all local brands (inclusive of Magnum Tonic Wine), “We have done a lot of preparations for these road shows and the aim is to include our consumers in our 10th anniversary celebrations. We don’t want them spending a dollar; all they need to do is show up, drink some Magnum and have a great time! I can’t reveal too much about what we have planned for all our concerts including this Saturday’s show in Cambridge, but all I can say is we are going to revolutionize the meaning of the word ‘energy’!”
