The album — whose title translates from Amharic as “Saviour of the World” — represents Mikey General’s most spiritually ambitious project to date, drawing deep from the wells of Rastafari consciousness, African history, and roots reggae tradition.
Born Michael Johnson in Clarendon, Jamaica, Mikey General has spent over three decades as one of the most consistent and spiritually grounded voices in conscious roots reggae.
