Carib Sound

<p>CaribSound Ltd. is a publisher of works of cultural significance arising from the Caribbean.  It was formed in December 2002 by Michael Kuelker [read more here], a teacher, writer, human rights activist and reggae radio DJ.  </p> <p>The first release was <em><a href="http://www.bigupradio.com/albumDetail.jsp?aid=3033">Communication Drums</a></em> , a nyahbinghi album by Jamaican Rasta percussion ensemble Prince Tebah & the Sons of Thunder.  It has garnered radio support from Guam to Nigeria and many points in between. </p> <p>The next work, a  product of seven years' cultivation, is an oral history / spiritual memoir titled <em>Book of Memory: A Rastafari Testimony</em> , composed by Jamaican Rasta elder Prince Williams and edited by Kuelker.  It is a work unlike any other on the Rastafari and Jamaican cultural studies bookshelf. </p> <p>
