The winners for the MOBO awards were revealed last night at the sixteeth staging of the event held for the second time in Scotland.
This year’s Awards saw a brilliant array of nominees walking away with the highly prestigious and much desired MOBO Award—an honour, which the organizers say ‘have changed many artists’ careers over the past 15 years.’
Sicily born international reggae star Alborosie, was among the list of winners announced at the event. He managed to bag the best reggae accolade from his competitors Damian Marley & Nas and Mavado. The awards were staged at Glasgow's Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC) and were hosted by US star Jason Derulo and singer Alesha Dixon.
The next MOBO awards are scheduled for 2013 and 2015 at the same venue in Glasgow
