Earlier this year Federation Sound dropped their first official release, the Flatlands Riddim,with an all-star line up of artists. It spawned a video for Mr. Lexx's"Diggy" and several heavy rotation club anthems including Mr. Vegas& Natalie Storm's "Doggy" and "Gyal Dem Waah Mi" byTerro 3000. Well aware of the worldwide trend in dancehall music FederationSound have once again broken ground with the Flatlands Remix Project. MaxGlazer and Kenny Meez hand-picked a small group of influential producers andasked them to re-imagine the songs, their only direction being "gocrazy".

A first of it's kind, theFlatlands Remix Project takes all 12 songs from the original release and giveseach one a remix by a different producer in a totally original and uniquestyle. Also included are two bonus tracks – "Whining Queen" by DellyRanx on the original Flatlands riddim and Max Glazer's "Brooklyn DubMix", an old school style dubbed out version of the instrumental track.
