Chronixx Returns With Landmark Album “Exile” — Reggae’s Most Anticipated Release of 2025

March 15, 2026

After years of anticipation, Chronixx delivered one of the most powerful reggae albums of the decade with Exile, released digitally in October 2025 and on vinyl in March 2026. Produced by Inflo — the visionary behind SAULT and Michael Kiwanuka — the project marks a bold artistic evolution for the Jamaican roots reggae icon. Exile blends classic Jamaican roots foundations with cinematic soul production and experimental textures. Tracks like “Hurricane,” “Keep On Rising,” and “Family First” are dispatches from an artist reckoning with pressure, purpose, and transformation. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard Reggae chart and earned widespread critical acclaim from Rolling Stone to The Guardian. Chronixx, born Jamar Rolando McNaughton in Spanish Town, Jamaica, rose to international prominence as a leading voice of the Roots Revival movement alongside Protoje and Kabaka Pyramid. Tour dates across Europe and North America are expected throughout 2026.
