Kingston, Jamaica – Singer, Cen'C Love, daughter of legendary reggae artist, Bunny Wailer is slated to take the stage at tonight's Speak Easy: Live music and poetry showcase at Hope Gardens, St. Andrew.
The singer who is widely known for her single, Cassanova, will be joined at Speak Easy by other performers including: BluGrass in the Sky, Sezi, Jason Worton, Tina Simone Mowatt and a special performance by the Order of the Drum Circle.
In addition, art will be on display and available for sale from persons and companies including: photographers, Colin Porter, Jherane Patmore, pop and fine artists Richard Natoo and Micheal Talbot. The jewelry on display will be provided by Avant-garde design house, Rev Jewelry and select pieces on loan from the Braemar Gallery collection.
Producer of the event, Antoinette Campbell, Managing Director of Firefly Productions Ltd. says, "We are extremely happy to have all these talented performers on our lineup. The arts is an important aspect of who we are as a country and Speak Easy is a celebration of that. We will also have featured belly dancers from Raks Sharki Jamaica and that is also something I know people will be excited about."
Speak Easy begins at 7 p.m. with an entry fee of $500 while students with IDs will be able to gain access for free between 7-9p.m.
