Strongpoint

<p>Strongpoint is the alter-ego of musician John Khan from Bradford, although prior to 1997 it was a duo consisting of him and Simon Manger. </p>
<p>Strongpoint were first heard when they did a remix on the 12" of <a href="http://www.bigupradio.com/artistDetail.jsp?aid=236">Rootsman</a>'s Perilous Time which was called the Stop The War Mix. It was also contained on the CD International Language Of Dub. </p>
<p>Their debut EP was released on <a href="http://www.bigupradio.com/labelDetail.jsp?lid=56">Third Eye Studio</a> in the summer of 1996 and was entitled the Product Of Imagination EP. It consisted on heartical drum and bass tracks with a positive message alongside Rootsman remixes. </p>
<p>In 1998, Strongpoint supplied another killer remix for Rootsman of Bad Boy Business which was released on The Final Frontier album in 1998. This remix featured ex-Unique 3 singer Karin Minott on vocals. </p>
<p>Strongpoint also supplied two tough remixes of <a href="http://www.bigupradio.com/artistDetail.jsp?aid=2513">Daddy Freddy</a> and Rootsman tracks which were contained on the "<em>Old School New School</em>" set. </p>
<p>Since then, Strongpoint have moved on to producing more tracks which they are hoping to release. </p>
