In November 2005 a new era in Barbadian entertainment was born: determined to satisfy the needs of a market thirsting for quality live entertainment from a versatile band that could cater to the appetites of both the native West Indian crowd and the World at large. Encompassing the genres of hip hop: R&amp-B: Soca: Alternative: Dancehall and Reggae: and with a &ldquo-new releases&rdquo- to &ldquo-back in time&rdquo- range: the &ldquo-strategy&rdquo- is quite simply to transcend the traditional audience segmentation: which has been to the detriment of so many Caribbean bands. Strategy&rsquo-s repertoire includes both contemporary covers and hot originals penned by the band&rsquo-s members.This concept has hit the ground running: and soon after its birth: Strategy became a regular fixture on Barbados&rsquo- nightclub scene: receiving overwhelmingly positive reviews. The band: which boasts an enviable instrumental section: is led by vocalists Kirk Brown: a rugged: sexy performer who is comfortable in many genres including rap: dancehall: back in time and soca to name a few: Miguel White: a former Junior Monarch first runner-up who has two hit singles under his belt and Tejay: arguably one of the most appealing and talented female vocalists and songwriters Barbados has ever seen.
