Sonya Collymore

After backing Beres Hammond, this powerful vocalist and skilled songwriter has taken centre stage with real assurance. Her debut album will include tracks produced by Work'n Till Dawn Productions, The Gumption Band, and Yogie. The winner of three Canadian Reggae Music Awards, she recently won a 2003 Juno Award for Reggae Recording of the Year.

At 2001's Canadian Reggae Music Awards, she won trophies for Top Female Newcomer and Single of the Year (for the JUNO-nominated single "Breathe"). At 2002 Canadian Reggae Music Awards, she won a trophy for Female Reggae Singer of the Year.
