Pachakuti

<p>Pachakuti are Egyptian musician El Jethoor and Indian maestro Lessur Nawaab. </p>
<p>Their highly distinctive music is a fusion of sounds from the classical traditions of Asia and the Middle East, with a dubwise vibe that could only come from the <a href="http://www.bigupradio.com/labelDetail.jsp?lid=56">Third Eye Studio</a>. </p>
<p>Their debut collection "<em>Distant Voices</em>" was released by Third Eye Music in 1998 and was a deeply spiritual set and is now something of a classic. </p>
After recording a number of new tracks, Pachakuti decided to go each follow their own separate paths, though a reunion could never be ruled out. Lessur Nawaab returned to his native India to set up his own recording facility in the Mumbai suburbs. El Jethoor continues to be active on the music scene and has remixed a number of <a href="http://www.bigupradio.com/artistDetail.jsp?aid=236">Rootsman</a> tracks. <br>
