Formed in 2000, New Flavor has made a definite impact on the Midwest region. The only Hawaiian Reggae Band that frequents the Wild Hare Club in Chicago known as the “Reggae Capitol of America” and tours throughout the U.S. With 2 Albums out to date, New Flavor has shared stages with numbers of well known reggae artists such as Junior Marvin from The Wailers, Boom Shaka, Prezident Brown, John Browns Body, Tippa Irie, Femi Kuti, Zeleke, Natty Nation, Aswah Greggori & The Enforcers, The Ark Band, and Inner Visions, just to name a few. New Flavor recently traveled to Las Vegas for Vizzin Entertainments Pure Aloha Concert. In this event New Flavor opened for Inner Circle and performed with some of Hawaii’s top performers including, Sudden Rush, B.E.T., Marty Dread, and Bonafide from Jamaica. In addition, New Flavor has played a number of large music festivals including, Island Fest Kalamazoo in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Ya Maka My Weekend Reggae Festival in Rock Island, Illinois, African World Festival w/Isley Brothers in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and the largest live music festival in the U.S, Summerfest, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
