Mr. Mirakulus

A musical miracle is about to be felt and heard throughout the world if MiraKulus has his way. Astonishing and amazing, Mirakulus -born Gary Lewin in May Pen, Jamaica - displays his sentiments through passionate, mesmerizing lyrics, and rhythmic melodies. MiraKulus has profound memories of his childhood and his existence in a familial environment where he was one of seven children. Everything was shared and individual attention was limited. This lead to his creativity and innovation because he had to entertain himself. During all that time, his family was very unaware of his talent but through a self-motivating force, Mirakulus convinced himself that he had talent and participated in his first performance in May Pen, in a “Ghetto Bash”. From that day forward, he would drive schoolgirls silly with his lyrics and smooth melodies.

As a native of Jamaica, Mirakulus describes his style of singing to those of Pinchers, Plyers, Spanner Banner, and Mr. Vegas, to name a few. He makes a personal note in saying that his style is different and he has his own identity but he is definitely inspired by Sanchez and the effect his voice has on the females.

Mirakulus’ passion and commitment to singing is manifested in his songwriting techniques. He writes all his songs and “miraculously” creates emotions from words. Upon hearing a Mirakulus lyric, listeners will be engulfed with thunderous waves of emotion that are transformed from the words of his songs. His lyrics and melodies are captivating, and positively overpowering, and his aura will have listeners yearning for more. One of his emotion-drenched songs, “Mama Mi Miss You”, is about an adult child’s longing for the comforts and security of a mother and hearing these lyrics will evoke a strong desire to reach out to your own maternal cloth. His other songs include “Roseanne” which tells a tale of the heartless and venomous nature of a woman that is sometimes overlooked in other songs. Mirakulus also has a fun-loving side that is evident in his song “Friday Night” – a song for the working class who deserves to enjoy life. His subtle presence allows him to flow effortlessly from impassioned lyrics to songs filled with high-spirited fun.
