<p>London-born Mike Soul's name derives from his soulful gospel sounding vocals. Hailed as UK's answer to Babyface he has been making waves as a multi-talented artist with an acoustic style and soulful sound. </p>

<p>Mike Soul’s debut single <em>What if I Could</em> (<em>feat Rain</em>) is currently one of the Top Ten Hottest Videos on Channel U while also featuring on other playlists. The track is also proving to be a popular download on iTunes (available regions: UK/EU, US, Canada, Japan, Australia/N.Z). And can be bought online at: Napster, Rhapsody, eMusic, Amazon Mp3, Groupie Tunes, Lala and Shockhound (includingremixes by Paleface, Sir Nutz and Mi-keyz).</p>
<p>Among his list of musical achievements is his co-written soundtrack <em>I Need Love</em> with Plan B (679 Recordings) for the box office sequel "Adulthood".</p>
<p>He has sung background vocals for heavyweights like Leona Lewis, Westlife and Shayne Ward. </p>
<p>His vocal abilities date back to the tender age of eight where his musical roots were established within the church and as a member of a gospel choir and young pianist; he supported popular acts such as the Clarke Sisters and Dawkins & Dawkins.</p>
<p>Previous activities show Mike Soul has been active on the club circuit. He has graced venues with his breathtaking live performances, including Mic Club at The Telegraph - Brixton (voted Top 5 in the Metro for best "live" night, 2004), Isobar (South Bank University), Vocool - Angel, Sesto bar (Xxpressions.com) Edgware, <a href="http://www.myspace.com/www.hackneyempire.com" target="_blank"><u>Hackney Empire(291 Variety Show)</u></a>,G Lounge(Camden) and the popular <a href="http://www.msplinks.com/MDFodHRwOi8vd3d3LjRzdGlja3NsaXZlLmNvLnVr" target="_blank"><u>Cobden Club</u></a> (Westbourne Park).</p>

<p>With up-beat club tracks such as <em>Left Alone</em> that touches on being optimistic after heartbreak, <em>Hate to Love</em> documents the joys and pains of falling in love whilst the acoustic <em>Best Friend's Girl</em> highlights the dilemma of a love triangle. </p>
