La Comuna has been one of the leading reggae bands in Mexico since the late nineties: and has built a history of almost a decade making of this musical genre their favorite medium of expression. The band has master along the years: the perfect fusion of a wide mosaic of rhythms and musical influences including jazz: funk: soul: and naturally reggae roots: turning into the finest and most versatile eclectic reggae ensemble in Mexico and central America.La Comuna was originated in Mexico City in 1998: and was immediately incorporated into the razteca movement: one of the most important and renowned reggae scenes in Latin America at the time: making its official debut in the 4th Razteca Festival: a massive concert with an audience of twenty thousand people. The following months between the years of 1998 and 2000: the band was dedicated at touring the Mexican countryside: as well as numerous venues of their hometown: the largest capital of the world.  In 2001: La Comuna releases its first album Vibraliviana: recorded in Foro Alicia: featuring popular tunes like Jamming por la Paz\ \"\""Buscando fe\""\"": \""\""Para\""\"": and \""\""Reggae Dosis\""\"".
