Kidd Cartel

A twenty one year old musician of Jamaican and West African descent. Cartel was born on the West coast of Africa in the capital city of Monrovia:Liberia. Kidd and his family had to flee as a cold-blooded civil war tore the country apart. As foriegners staying short in Europe and then moving into New York City: and later on moving on over to Jersey. KC started getting the influence of musical legends such as: Marvin Gaye: Bob Marley: Phil Collins: Tupac Shakur: Biggie Smalls and The Fugees: Rod Stewart: Kenny Rodgers and NAS. Bringing a new sensation mixing a hot reggae sound with R&B and hip-hop. K.C started pursuing his musical dreams early with J. Begel who saw promising talent in the young Cartel. Kidd will later with his cousins and other crew members start a group called R.C. Finishing his solo debut album Cartel is taking music by storm in new angles with an exuberance bursting out as a entertainer working with Sean Combs on The Making the Band 2 as aspiring artist and opening up for acts such as: youngbloodz and Murder Inc. and headlining a couple of his own shows with R.C. ENT. Much happiness and succes is in the future of this soon to be International Superstar
