Thatâ??s why people have begun to sit up and pay attention to his ballads that chronicle everyday life: but still evoke a consciousness in the minds of listeners.Born Kemar Thompson on October 10th: 1982: the singer is the eldest son of reggae legend Pinchers who ruled the dancehall and reggae charts with the mega hits â??Agonyâ?? and â??Bandeleroâ?? in the late 1990s. He began performing at the age of six: wowing patrons at talent shows: school fetes and even stage shows with his superstar genes. Kemar spent his early childhood years living with his mom in the communityof Rock Hall: St. Catherine. At five years old Pinchers took Kemar to live with him in the Queensbourough residential community in the gritty capital city of Kingston: long acknowledged for its impeccable reggae pedigree.
