Jah Rose

Born in Jamaica, grew up in Kingston, get in touch with music very early in a gospel choir. Taught and inspired by <a href="http://www.bigupradio.com/artistDetail.jsp?aid=26">Bob Marley</a>, <a href="http://www.bigupradio.com/artistDetail.jsp?aid=1853">Peter Tosh</a>, <a href="artistDetail.jsp?aid=59">Dennis Brown</a> and <a href="http://www.bigupradio.com/artistDetail.jsp?aid=1373">Jimmy Cliff</a>. He started at the age of 16, to write his own songs and poetry. <br>

In 1978 Jah Rose had his first performance in jamaica. His style of music is reggae, singing and toasting. Influenced by HipHop, what just start to become popular. From that time several shows / performances started in jamaice, holland, Switserland and Italy.

1995 Rosewell started different projects with Booy! a, Tony Cotora, Nana and Jamaica Papa Curvin.

1998 he started the group " Da Prophets Empire " with IQ Gray and Short Lord, and released the Single " The Fight", on BMG LAbel, Video was shown on MTV and VH-1.

1999 Jah Rose went on his own again and made a commercial song for one the biggest travel company. The song called: " Kiss My Baby In The Sunshine".

2000 radio interviews, like with BBC 1, biggest saturday-night-reggae-show promoted by the famous Chris Goldfinger.
Made a song together with Junior Delgado.

2002 Rosewell Abraham Williams aka Jah Rose released a song on Epark / Zomba: " ( Uh La La) I Like The Way You Are".
