Where do I begin. "Music is my life and has been every since age 3 when I began singing in my fathers church."<br>
Yet true to her Aquarian spirit her tastes would soon diversify as she
discovered and embrace rythms from around the world. <br>
As a teen she trained almost eight years as a dancer (modern, contemporary jazz). <br>
She dances to everything from Bosa Nova to Drum & Bass,(with or without a partner). <br>
<br>
It was her love of dancing and carribean rythms that led her to become a faithful patron of L.A. reggae club "Kingston 12".<br>
It was there that she met local reggae artist/celeb Ital Joe who would introduce her to "Wailing Souls" and her first taste as an
artist on tour. <br>
She has traveled extensively touring and recording with some of the most respected names
in R&B, Hip Hop, D&B and Reggae (Dr. Dre, Eazy E, MC MC, Jeffrey Osborne, Howard Hewitt, The Stylistics,
Ali Woodson, Sly & Robby, Bunny Wailer, Wailing Souls, Capelton. <br>
<br>She credits "My upbringing combined with the inspiration of the various countries and music
I've encountered" with leading her to begin writing her own music. <br>
A vibrant well developed artist, she has now moved up front center stage performing music that she writes and produces.>br>
When asked to describe her musical style she smiles at "Our tendency/need to categorize everything & everyone".
"Unity music" she replies having created her own name for a style that encompasses many styles while
simultaneously refusing to be defined any single one.<br><br> "It's a fusion of everything I love, a little Reggae,
a little Jazz, a little R&B wrapped in crisp Hip Hop flavored beats". <br>
Harmonic enough to reach the masses and unique enough to compliment her thirst for intellectual variety, Harmonique is "not your average chick".
Not your average producer. Not your average artist. Truly Har-mo-nique! <br>
