The musical essences that are Denison George have been positively evolving and are now on the cutting edge of today's World Beat sound, steadily captivating main stream audiences world wide and exposing them to a style that many music critics have praised as being bold, grounded, and different. Denison George grew up on the ghetto streets of Brooklyn, New York, and it was on these streets that his fan base started blossoming, following the release of his first Reggae single, "Shake Up Your Natty," in 1986. A few years later, he released his first mini album titled "Twelve 0' Clock." The album received tremendous air play on local New York and Caribbean stations. The album was a true success for George's young musical career.

With the wind of success blowing in his direction, the following year he went on to write the theme song titled "Pray for Peace on this Island" for the Off Broadway hit play, "The Mermaid Wakes," which received rave reviews in the New York Times. In the summer of 1988, after surviving a terrible car accident, George was gunned down on a street in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn on his way to work. Being absent from the music business for a short while, provided George with the opportunity to complete a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from John Jay College. In 1997, the musical tide turned in Denison George's favor with the release of the tremendously successful album "Sinful Citay." Three of the songs on this album, "Forgiveness," "People Power," and "No Sell Out," charted on many international Reggae charts around the world. Following a successful British tour, on his return home Denison fell ill and again took a break from the music scene and returned to the City University of New York where in one year, he completed a Masters Degree in Political Science and Law. The international success of "Sinful Citay" provided Denison George and his World Beat Band with the opportunity to tour North America, Europe, and the Caribbean, opening concerts for many international artists such as Barrington Levey, Beres Hammond, Alton Ellis, Morgan Heritage, Anthony B, Capleton, JC Lodge, The Mighty Sparrow, Jazz legend Roy Eyers, and many others. "The Crossing" with its powerful uplifting lyrics, captivating, refreshing World Beat Rock Reggae sound, is true evidence that Denison George has matured into a talented musician, accomplished song writer, and an inspiring vocalist. His successful fusion of Reggae and Compare music, on the track "Jacmel," his wailing vocals on "Africa Oh Africa" in three different languages, his Jazzy Bluesy Reggae vibes on the title track "The Crossing," and his rock guitar riffs on "We Don't Roll Like That" are clear indications as to where Denison George is coming from and where he is heading.
