TEACHA DEE: born Damion Warren in Westmoreland Jamaica: is an amazing entertainer singing songs from an eclectic genre of music that will grab any audiences attention. Not only is Teacha Dee a musician but he is also a teacher of 6 years at the local school in Montego Bay. Teacha Dee went to Sam Sharpe Teachers College where he pursued a course in Secondary Education focusing in Integrated Science: Mathematics and Information Communication Technology. He is always involved in the schools activities and feels you dont have to be uneducated to be an entertainer: the road to success is education first then music. In June of 2004 he was drafted in the semi finals of the inaugural staging on the now popular Rising Stars Talent Search: he appeared on Entertainment Report: Hype Zone: RE TV and was featured in the Western Mirror:The Gleaner and The Jamaican Observer: which highlighted the fact that he was a teacher with a vast talent and appreciation for entertainment. Teacha Dees musical influences stem from artists like Bounty Killer: Eek A Mouse: Sizzla Kalonji and Beres Hammond. Teachas music can be seen as a cross between both culture and dancehall through his motivational lyrics. He has worked with people in the entertainment industry like Lorna Bennett: Iceberg: King Emerald: One Harmony Records: Weed Beat Crew: High Quest Productions: Pow Pow Productions: Big Yard Productions and has been featured on two mixtapes from DJ L AND DJ Suss One. Being classified as one genre does not fit his musical style and preference.
