Damian Marley

Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley — born July 21, 1978 in Kingston, Jamaica — is the youngest son of Bob Marley and Miss World 1976 Cindy Breakspeare. A multi-Grammy winning artist, producer, and entrepreneur, Damian has built a career that honors his father's legacy while creating something entirely his own. His 2005 album Welcome to Jamrock remains a landmark of modern reggae, while Distant Relatives (2010) with Nas pioneered reggae-hip-hop fusion. His production work — including Grammy winners for Kabaka Pyramid and Third World — establishes him as a musical architect for the next generation.
