EWNS Music Group recording artist: Bruck Up aka George Adams is best known as one of Kingston: Jamaica’s most loved: gifted and undisputed dance legends who not only seduced fans throughout the Caribbean with his infectious popular dance “The Bruck Up”: but also mesmerized a new loyal fan base Stateside: as well.Having persevered for 13 years with a childhood bone condition which after numerous operations: doctors feared would eventually claim his leg: a determined: Bruck Up armed only with an unrequited love for music: an insatiable desire to dance: a mother’s unconditional love and an unshakable belief that her only son would walk on his own two legs: beat the odds.Bruck Up: an anomaly: an exception to the rule or whatever the label: not only did he walk: but in just four short years between the ages of 13 and 17: developed into one of Jamaica’s star dancers with a unique style rooted in his fierce determination to walk.In defiance: Bruck Up: (the name given to him during his tumultuous childhood) redirected a life altering situation that could have left him disabled and danced his way into the hearts of most while sharing the spotlight as a dancer with Jamaica’s finest reggae artists including: Mackeral: Buju Banton: Bounty Killa and Beenie Man to name a few at mega events such as Sting and Reggae Sun Splash. A defining opportunity and dream come true was realized when Busta Rhymes decided in (‘97) to shoot his video “Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See” in Jamaica and director Hype Williams lobbied for Bruck Up’s participation. He was cast in the video as the memorable: eye catching green man. This video experience inspired him to embrace the collaboration of hip hop and reggae music.Since his introduction to America: he has modeled for Karl Kani and Tommy Hilfiger: been featured as the blonde hair solo dancer in Wyclef Jean’s and Canibus’ “Gone Til November” video (‘97): accompanied Wyclef as his hype man on the “Smoking Groove National Tour” (‘98-‘99) as well as: performed on stage with hip hop superstars from Slick Rick to Biggie and is currently touring Stateside with Doug E Fresh and Lil’ Vicious. Other performances include appearances at Jay-Z: Madison Square Garden concert in NY (‘04): BET’s Rip The Runway with Doug E Fresh and Lil Vicious and Reggae Carifest/Randall’s Island (‘05).
