Greetings: Allow me to introduce myself: I am Amber Nicole Smith aka AMBUSSH: which stands for its original definition: A surprise attack from a hidden position. As well as for my very own definition: Articulated Music Bringing U Ssshhh Silenced Havoc. AMBUSSH uniquely describes my musical delivery: skills: and abilities that overall displays my diverse style. Its a musical attack from my nonchalant set back position: youd never expect it until displayed. On the date of May 7: 1980 the 5ft 9in: long legged: long-lashed big brown eyed flair was born. I am originally from the East Coast: specifically Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. I ventured to the West Coast at the toddler age of two. Since then: Ive resided in several cities throughout California. My love and need for music was discovered at the young age of seven. I was introduced to my first musical instrument: a brown wooden Kimball piano. Soon after piano playing came singing: rapping: and chatting Jamaican Patt-twa. With it came song writing: vocal arranging: composing of melodies and taking up my newest musical interest: the acoustic guitar. Performing started early in life for me: being raised in the church gave me the opportunity to begin singing and leading solo parts in the childrens choir advancing to the youth praise team and there onto the adult choir. Aside from performing in the church atmosphere: I have entertained in several shows: venues and clubs. The passion I have for music enables me to continue to work hard to become the entrepreneur of managing my own recording studio and record label. The vision of producing music and lyrics gives me a gratifying feeling. I live for music: in a sense its my every breath: my life support. Performing worldwide and touring the globe universally: allows me to share myself: feelings: thoughts: ideas and emotions through music and song: Ive captured the hearts and souls of the people.
