Wilton Place School’s First Grade teacher, Anna Fisher will be attending the Grammy Awards at Staple Center February 8, 2006 representing the band she recorded, “Black Gold & Green” on the Shanachie Records label with. Third World Band is the longest running self-contained group in Jamaican music history! The album has been nominated for Album of the Year in Reggae. This is the group’s tenth Grammy Award nomination. Anna played the oboe solos on the song, “There’s A Reward”.
