After hearing all the hype thats being created around the name Sinista Eskapone from the Mad-Dem Mafia: its time to meet the first lady of the camp: Mizz Teejah. Born in England on the 23/01/??: Mizz Teejah grew up between London: England and Kingston: Jamaica. At the age of 11: she sang in her local gospel choir and by 15 she had recorded her first song. Mizz Teejah attended the Hammersmith and West London College were she studied Performing arts. She passed the course awarding her with a B-Tec National diploma. She then went on to study Sound Engineering and electronics and also passed the course awarding her with 3 certificates. Three months on she had auditioned for an all female trio which later became the famous girl group named Fierce: which earned her two U.K top ten hits!! As a growing artiste Teejah has already supported super star artiste such as P.Diddy and the family: Whitney Houston: Another level and E-17. She has also toured with Smash hits: The Disney channel: and has been a regular face on many TV stations. After a successful pop career: the group decided to go their separate ways to pursue other interests. Mizz Teejah took a short break out of the industry to have time to reflect on where she wanted to go with her first love in music Reggae/Dancehall. Influenced by the likes of Bob Marley: Tanya Stephens: Sinista and Morgan Heritage: she decided to hook up with Sinista of the Mad-Dem Mafia: who helped her create her Dancehall sound. Since joining the Mad-Dem Mafia: Mizz Teejah has shared the stage with major national and international artistes such as: Vybez Cartel: Assassin: Mad Cobra: Beenie Man and Tony Matterhorn just to name a few. She has also performed on the 2005 Channel U awards with Sinista: and has been a headline act on various festivals such as The Respect festival and The Rise festival Mizz Teejah is a natural born talent and is one to look out for: this is just the beginning.
