Eggnog, historically also known as milk punch or egg milk punch, is a rich, chilled, sweetened, creamy dairy-based beverage traditionally made with milk and/or cream, sugar, whipped eggs and, in some contexts, distilled spirits such as brandy, rum or bourbon.
