A past student of Vauxhall Comprehensive High School, during his years there he showed a lot of in music and was well known to everyone who was always eager to hear him deejay. His first release was 'Dimbo Bucket' in 1984 while he was still in school.

He then became a full time disc jockey for Black Stone Sound System. "i would flip the record and play the instrumental version, deejay to it and crowd would erupt," he said. As a result he was approached by Earl Messam who produced his first record on the Tuff Gong label entitled "Madda Mampie" which did fairly well. Eventually he met two brothers Tony and dave Kelley, who played a big role in moving forward his career. Tony did an x-rated song with Daddy Screw called "Gal Yuh Look Good," Dave Kelley heard it and liked it and told him that xrated records never get radio exposure so he should change his lyrics. He followed Dave's advice and began dedicating his time to Penthouse Studios where he linked Terror Fabulous.
