Blunt

Blunt is a 5 piece band formed in the summer of 2000. We have been playing a nice blend of catchy and sunny reggae/rock songs: easy listening for a wide public. The project started in early 2000 when Jake: Jimmie and a couple of friends: recorded some reggae songs for the fun of it. It turned out that these former hardcore guys actually had something good going on that recording: so they decided to make a band: and come up with some more material. During the summer they got hold of former Candyflip 666 drummer Günter Back: guitarist Jesper Friis from Flipside and AAO guitar player Mululu. During the next months we started making new material and played a few concerts: we recorded a song for a Christmas compilation LP pulished December 2000 on Smart ´n´ Hard Records: with our friends Skaloot: Hoolies and Barcode. In the spring of 2001 we recorded a promo cd which gave us some jobs and good PR. Since then we have played concerts and been practicing hard. In early 2003 we recorded our first full length album: Reggae da Nation\. During 2004: we entered the \"\""Emergenza festival\""\""-contest: and made it to the finals. We also entered the \""\""Livecontest.dk\""\"" where we made it to the semis. In June 2004 we appeared on the compilation cd \""\""stem svin\""\"". Later that month our favorite negro HP Mululu left the band: and was replaced by hard-rocker Mads Schaarup.\""\""\"""""
