BlackSheep a.k.a Kelvin Nelson was born in Kingston Jamaica at Victoria Jubilee hospital: and lived in Waterford: St. Catherine. Growing up he attended Independence City All Age School. As a child: there was a lot of musical influence around him such as the Get Rich Crew with ‘Macho Kid’: ‘Blacka Ranks’ to name a few and the former duo of Ghost and Culture. Even though he was brought up by strict Christian parents : he fell in love with Reggae the first time he heard ‘No: No: No’ and ‘Buffalo Soldier’ from Dawn Pen and the Great Robert Nesta Marley. At that point: he knew that he wanted to do Reggae: at that time he was only 7 seven years old.It was not long after he started performing at class parties and Sifered with his friends and brother. During this time: he began developing his unique style of Reggae – ‘Reggae-Bop’ which is the mixture of Reggae: Hip Hop and Rap. He got the name ‘BlackSheep’ from his next door neighbor ’Errol’ also known as Krackilla. Even though the name ‘BlackSheep’ did not stick at the time: he continued to act like a ‘BlackSheep’ all throughout. In case you are wondering: a ‘BlackSheep’ is anyone who likes to do their own thing regardless of what anyone else has to say. BlackSheep migrated in 1998 to the USA: and now lives in New York working hard to survive in this life of crime and violence while still pushing his music. His songs are currently being played across the internet in France: Japan: Germany: Australia: Netherlands: Senegal: Japan: Egypt and other places on the European Market. ‘BlackSheep’ is however quick to point out that this was not anything like an over night success because he can remember when he used to drop off his demos at record labels and got no response whatsoever. It was In 2004 that ‘BlackSheep’ became very depressed and tired of trying to get in the game. It was at this point he called ‘Junie P’ in Delaware and expressed to him that after three years of trying-it was time to come hard at the Industry. Even though three years is nothing considering that there are many artistes who have been trying for more than ten years an still nothing: ‘BlackSheep’ believed it was time to get ‘Dipping’. In the months to follow: they began working on their own label called Haunted House Entertainment: for short Double H.E. With BlackSheep as the lead artist and other artists like Gemini who flavors R&B/Reggae likewise ‘Junie P’ and ‘Blackatunde’ as a Singer/Songwriter/Producer/Promoter & Web Developer they knew it would soon be over. Also to join Double H.E. is ‘Jahzi Prince\
