Mrs. Skannotto

mrs. skannotto is a ska band based out of Rochester: NY. Originally formed at Bates College in Lewiston: ME in 1998: mrs. skannotto has settled in their current home for the past 3 years. Playing shows in the area has begun to gain them local and regional recognition. Always rooted in ska: mrs. skannotto draws influences from rock: punk: reggae: metal: and the 80’s. Their exciting live shows have been known to draw crowds into a frenzy with melodies and lyrics that stick with you long after the song ends. The band is anchored by a solid rhythm section: fronted by both witty and meaningful lyrics: and complemented by horn lines ranging from melodic to punchy.
