Spoila Ranks has effectively built a name for himself through hard Work and dedication, due to his love for music. There is never a dull moment hanging around him. He is able to work amongst any crowd and still be on top of his game. As being fearless, hardcore, real, a comedian and a child of god he displays all the qualities of a true Jamaican who has been through all the struggles and tests of life. Spoila is one in a million, "True Dappa Youth."

Michael M. was born in Clarendon Jamaica. His love for music came at an early age. It all started when his aunt brought him to a concert starring Half Pint and Charley Champlin. It was then that his eyes opened to a new world, from that moment on he practiced at least two hours everyday aiming to accomplish his goal.

Spoila Ranks migrated to Canada in the late 80s to make a better life with his family. It was hard for him to adjust to the cold climate, as well as speak proper English, for which he got picked on a lot for. Never the less he stayed focused; he knew what was in his heart. In Mississauga the area, that he resided there was not much reggae music being played. That set him back a lot. Eventually he met some friends who shared the same culture as him from back home they were, H. Wilson, Fat man, and Aqua Don that’s when "the fire started." He kept dances almost every weekend, had big birthday bashes for himself where people from everywhere would celebrate with him. Spoila built a vibe in Mississauga and brought Jamaica with him to Canada. He was the first person to bring sound systems like Red flame, Stereo Prophet, King Turbo, Military, Picture man Lloyd and many others to Mississauga, he's a prophet there and the people love him.

Spoila started DJ chat mic in 1991.His inspiration came from Bob Marley Supercat, Bounty killer, Ninja Man, Beenie Man, Puppet, 2Pac, Nas, Kid Foigner and many others. His first chat mic was Kid Forigner, Lick Shot, Jmurda, Terminal, and Rockilla. His moment came at Tropical nightclub where he tore the place down with his amazing style "Cut and Go Through." That night he felt his hard work beginning to pay off and his dream looked possible. Since then he has been on stage with acts like Beenie Man, Mr. Vegas, Professor Nuts, Richie Lu, Lil' Kim and many others. His song "I like Her" put him on top of Canada's list of top five entertainers. His songs played on radio for six months; other singles included sentimental, T Dot Song, Sweet Life, and da vibe. His album sold one thousand copies to date.

Spoila's mission in life is to "mash up" Sting and Sunfest.
