The Listening Party 19 Features Reggae Producer Supa Hype

April 8, 2012

Formerly known as Superman and a former television presenter on ReTV who became a hit music producer (Smash riddim, Juicy Riddim) and more recently a hit dancehall artist ("She Gone", "Imma Need Security") who also juggles the responsibilities of studio owner, sound system operator, selector and voice over artist, among many other things most likely.

Supa Hype lives up to his name in practically every aspect. His studio, 007, is one of the most popular in Kingston, frequented by Gyptian, Potential Kid and Munga Honourebel. Mojito Mondays, the weekly party in kingston where Supa has been resident deejay for the last three years, is a Monday night/Tuesday morning mecca for local, uptown and downtown, as well as foreign Jamaican music fans. Join Supa Hype, Munga Honourebel and host Joshua Chamberlain for TLP 019 as we set up shop at 007 studio and spend some time at Mojito Mondays.
