Beenie Man one of Jamaica’s longest reigning dancehall artiste continues to top international and local charts, Beenie seems to be on a never ending hold of the top.
The ‘Doc’ scorching single ‘Wine Gal’ is in the #1 spot on the New York Top 30 Reggae singles chart also copping the #2 position on South Florida’s Top 20 singles chart, it has also allowed him to gain his first #1 single for this year locally on the Hype TV’s Top 20 singles chart which it kept hold for six weeks also spent three weeks on top of the Richie B’s Jamaica Music Countdown Chart and RE TV Dancehall chart which is still maintaining a hold in the top ten position on all three charts locally.
Speaking of local charts, his hot new single ‘Gimme Likkle’ that was recorded on for Born So Records is enjoying heavy rotations on the air and creating havoc in the dancehalls and ripping its way up the charts. The single has debuted at #17 position on Richie B’s chart; it also sits at #15 on RE TV Dancehall chart and currently takes up the #7 spot on the Hype TV Top 20 singles chart after five weeks.
Local and international patrons can definitely look out to see him performing this summer which is gearing to be a hectic yet spectacular one for the entertainer who is booked to appear on several top events for July, such as Portland Jerk Festival on July 6, Reggae Sumfest July 17 among others. He is also expected to embark on a European tour in August right after his own show dubbed ‘Beenie Man Summer Sizzle’ on August 6 to be held at Jamalco Sports Complex in Halse Hall, Clarendon.
