Al Pancho

<p>The Rastafarian Dejay Al Pancho was born Owen Ricardo Brown in Mayriver, St.Mary on the 8th of June 1974, as the first child and the only boy of his mother Judith Grey and his father Junior Brown.He grew up on the countryside, and moved to the<em> "town"</em>, Kingston, 1988 after the hurricane <em>"Gilbert"</em> hit Jamaica, causing widespread devastation.The young Owen Brown started singing when he was 12 years old, just for fun, with his friends in the back of their houses.<br />

From his youngest days music was always his thing, so he, like many other Jamaicans became familiar with the dancehall sessions that took and still take place all over the island.</p>
