Angel grew from that little girl with the adorable voice to an experienced professional. Angel began her singing career at age five. Having been groomed by mom/ personal manager Grace Peynado and Fab Five’s Frankie Campbell, she excelled in the performing arts at school and in theatre groups honing her talents while gathering medals for her achievements.

Over the years, the young woman who was once called ‘a child prodigy’, has achieved the milestone of being the ‘first’ and ‘youngest’ who has appeared in National events including 'Keys to the City - tribute to outgoing American Ambassador Michael Sithoros, 'Miss Lou and Friends' - tribute to the Hon. Louis Bennett-Coverly (Ward Theatre) , Grand Gala (National Stadium, JA.), and she was honored to be the first child to appear on 1st of the series 'Ward Theatre of Excellence'.
To date, Angel is the youngest person to reach the finals of the National Song Competition at age 13 and in that same year she was crowned Miss Jamaica Hal Jackson Talented Teen where she represented her country to a standing ovation for her rendition of ’Vision of Love’ at the Apollo Theatre, NY.

Angel’s talents expand beyond music. A published songwriter, poet, and photographer Angel has had her works featured in books in the USA and has received an International Poet of Merit Award from the International Poetry Society.

In 2005 she penned ‘Bring Back the Love’ for Marcia Griffiths, ‘Shining Time’ album and has already begun writing for other artistes. Her writing talents, has also seen her contributing to local and international media as a freelance columnist.

Angel has toured the world with international Reggae acts like, Maxi Priest, Damian & Julian Marley, The Gladiators and Nahki to name a few. She has appeared on countless recordings and her voice and music is heard worldwide. Angel who has more than ten singles to date has appeared on labels such as Taxi (JA), Black Diamond, Ruff Cutt (UK), Charm/Jetstar (UK), Big Ship, Star Trail (JA/USA), Treasure Chest, Keyser Soze II (JAPAN) and Squaw Records.
