SOUND V.I.ZION RECORDS is a conscious record label with its roots stemming from the island of St. Croix in the Carribbean. SOUND V.I.ZION made it's debut in October of 2000 with a CD compilation of 15 tracks entitled "CULTURELLENNIUM" featuring various artists from the Caribbean such as <a href="http://www.bigupradio.com/artistDetail.jsp?aid=4340">RAS ATTITUDE</a>, PRENTO KIDD, MIDNITE, APOSTLE, NACHILUS and <a href="http://www.bigupradio.com/artistDetail.jsp?aid=2406">BATCH</a> (founder of SOUND V.I.ZION RECORDS). In January 2001, SOUND V.I.ZION released its second CD and first solo project entitled <a href="http://www.bigupradio.com/albumDetail.jsp?aid=9235">"HAPPINESS"</a> by artist RAS ATTITUDE (photos/links). A strong vocalist with tremendous singing and d.j. abilities, ATTITUDE delivers track after track with righteousness. Blazing tracks such as HAPPINESS, RASTA EMPRESS (featuring Batch), GLORIOUS, BACK IN THE HILLS AND JAH TRESS. This album has received strong airplay in the Caribbean, Atlanta, Virginia, Boston, Maryland and Washington D.C. <a href="http://www.bigupradio.com/albumDetail.jsp?aid=3955">"CULTURELLENNIUM 2"</a> The follow up to the original various artist compilation is a must own. The CD contains some of the Virgin Islands premiere reggae artists including RAFF-I-JAH of the Star Lion Family, YAH SHILOH-I, <a href="artistDetail.jsp?aid=2800">MIDNITE</a>, RAS CHUNKS, APOSTLE, DEZARIE, KING LION and naturally RAS ATTITUDE and BATCH.
