Freeza was born Yohance Dixon in Greenwich, London. Notable influences include Tupac, Sizzla, Durrty Goodz, Eminem, Vybz Kartel, Lil Wayne, Styles P, Wiley, Kano, Bashy and Craze 24. As a producer he is inspired by Mannie Fresh, Kanye West, Swizz Beats, Wiley, Maniac, Skepta and Dot Rotten.

Coming from Woolwich, South East London, Freeza was surrounded by artists trying to pave their way in the music industry using Grime and hip hop as their expressive art forms. Freeza began producing in 2003 and made a studio in his house to record a few local artists while at the same time writing lyrics. Freeza began making hip hop instrumentals mainly using Rare Groove and Motown samples before moving onto making grime and naturally, producing outside these genres too. In 2005 Freeza decided to master the production craft by qualifying as a Sound Engineer and began using fewer samples.

Freeza began rapping in 2005, recording in his home studio using the lyrics he had been writing for many years. Freeza decided to perfect this craft with hours spent on perfecting lyricism, content and flow before showcasing this talent to his friends and other locals. In early 2006 MySpace allowed Freeza to get his work out to a wider audience and despite the positive feedback he thought it was time to get back to the drawing board and put 100% time and effort into improving further. Freeza released his first mix tape 'Dem Way Dere' for free download on MySpace to test the waters.
At the end of 2007 Freeza released 3 promos (MySpace Promo 1-3) at the beginning of 2008 to show that he was still growing as an artist while working on a second mix tape.
Freeza raps about a lot of different subjects using clever metaphors and punch lines to portray his message. His dynamic style allows him to effortlessly flow over faster Grime beats as well as the slower hip hop ones. Freeza's clever rhymes balance the young hustler's lifestyle with a sense of street-reared insight and knowledge.
In May 2008 and over 200 songs later Freeza released his second and current mix tape 'Listen To Me Now Vol. 1' which has been receiving positive feedback from across the country. If you want a copy you have to act fast with it mainly being sold online through my MySpace and at gigs and shows like the O2 where music fans come from far and wide to see their favourite artists perform. Production includes Kid D, Skeamz, Addict and Freeza himself. The mix tape also sees Freeza rapping over tracks by T-Pain, Rick Ross, Usher, Young Jeezy and Alicia Keys to show his versatility and ability to keep his lyrical content on par with the chosen performers.
Freeza is working on 'Listen To Me Now Vol. 2', 'MySpace Promo 4-6', and some collaboration mix tapes with other local artists as well as continuing production.
