DJ Trasha grew up in South London surrounded by Reggae music and culture: So it was inevitable he would become a selecta. Trasha relocated to the Bay Area where he worked at Thrasher Skateboard Magazine as Hip hop / Reggae music editor. In this time he featured Sean Paul, Elephant Man, Buju Banton, Sizzla, Capleton and T.O.K. in the skateboard magazine alongside major Hip hop artists.
Trasha is now located in Los Angeles where he mixes riddims for Sirius Satellite Radio Reggae Riddims show and Big Up Radio Champion Sound. In spring of 05 Trasha dropped a Dancehall Hip hop blend album called “Essential Booty Shakerz” Vol One under the name of Special Forcez with production partner Dom P da Chemist. It received five stars in the Beat Magazine and jam of the month. The album features remixes of Vybz Kartel, TOK, Beenie Man, Elephant Man, Mr Vegas, Ce’cile and Beyonce over Lil Jon, Dr Dre, Jazze Pha, Neptunes, Scott Storch party beats.

Trasha plays in LA at the Chocolate Bar on Melrose with DJ Hier, DJ Daz and I and I Sound and recently headlined the Beat Magazines annual Dancehall party at Star Shoes, Hollywood. Trasha was also the Reggae DJ on the Sneaker Pimps tour of USA 05 alongside Biz Markie and Mix Master Mike.
