This Friday February 24,2006 sees Michael Campbell (AKA: Mikey Dread) returning to Jamaica to pay honor to his father’s 100 years on the earth in Kingston and also to celebrate the beginnings of his most successful 30 year entertainment career!
Join us in saluting the man who is referred to as the “Foundation” of Reggae DJ’s Worldwide – the Original Master Blaster – The Internationally acclaimed “Rasta who is in Control” – the Original Dread at the Controls. Mikey is renowned as being innovative long before his time, by taking a “yard” sound from the streets to the airwaves. Successfully crossing over from Award winning Jamaican Reggae Radio DJ while at JBC (Jamaican Broadcasting Company in Jamaica) to Internationally Acclaimed Reggae Artist, a true Icon.
